Pork Guisantes


INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 pound chopped pork butt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 bay leaf
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 (10 oz.) package frozen peas
  • 1 small can pimento

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. In a skillet, brown pork, then add salt, pepper, onions, and garlic.
  2. Cook until pork is done.
  3. Add tomato sauce, vinegar, soy sauce, bay leaf, and water. If gravy is too thick, add more water.
  4. Add peas and cook until done. Top with pimento's.
  5. Serve over hot rice.
